About the Elementary School
Small class sizes and innovative teaching methods enhance the quality of education. At the elementary school, teachers closely monitor each child’s progress and tailor their approach to meet their needs, stimulate their curiosity, and ignite a desire to learn. The elementary school welcomes pupils aged 6 to 11 across five grade levels.
French School Accredited "Ersatzschule"
Our elementary school offers two programs, both accredited as ‘Ersatzschule’ by the Land of Hesse authority. Mastering French and German is a priority in our school, as is learning the basics of mathematics and civics. There is also a strong emphasis on learning English, the sciences, physical education, art and cultural education.
Languages in Elementary School
The Lycée Français Victor Hugo offers French and German courses starting from elementary school; two bilingual options are available.
Moreover, all children start to learn English in CE2; they attend two sessions of 45 minutes per week. The class is divided into two smaller groups once a week.
